We highly recommend new egg for all your computer related needs. They not only have great prices, but their customer service is very good and they ship fast. This is where I order all my computer peripherals, memory, and storage.
For Email marketing, they are the best! You can set up everything in advance and tell Aweber when to send. You can legally collect email addresses from a sign-up on your website. It has automatic response emails. If you plan to seriously email market your business, you need Aweber.
Monetize your website with ads from Adbrite. Similar to Google, they automatically feed relevant ads to your pages - less work and more income for you. It's an easy way to get started with affiliate marketing. You might as well earn revenue from your website traffic.
If you need a cell phone accessory, this is the place to go - most items are 80% off retail and the quality is good. I've purchased phone cases, car chargers, cell chargers, headphones, mounts and more from them and they are reliable and ship fast.
Great place to buy ink and toners for less than retail. I'll never buy that stuff at Staples again - the quality of their refilled cartridges is comparable to manufacturers' new. You can save up to 70-80% on each ink cartridge (depending on brand). I use their HP cartridges and they work great.

I have used a lot of different brands, but Dell has been the most reliable for the long haul. Their support is also very good - even when your computer is old, you can still get help with it - not many companies will do that. If you're confused, and don't know what to get - Dell is almost always a safe and reliable choice. I still use my 1997 laptop and it runs great (though it doesn't have much storage space anymore!) - I was able to get a replacement LCD screen when it died because it was a Dell. |
I don't like recommending cheap do-it-yourself websites mainly because they are not going to bring you the business you want for a lot of reasons. But I suppose if you MUST, Website Tonight is a good option. They have excellent support, and it's easy to use. Just promise me when you can afford it you'll get a REAL website - your business deserves it. |
I've used an assortment of solutions for backing up my files, but Carbonite is by far the easiest. Once it's set up on your computer, you can forget it. And it's easy to set up. As your files change they are uploaded to Carbonite's server and if anything ever goes wrong, it's easy to get them back. A good value for the price to back up priceless photos and documents! |
