It takes approximately 4 to 6 hours to do a site review and needs analysis for the average site - approx. 3-5 hours of research with about an hour explaining the results. The Formal RFP Report includes advice on improvements to your website that you can take with you to any website designer you desire. If you hire us, you'll get a generous discount applied to the initial invoice if you hire us for website redesign or website repair work. You'll know the most cost effective website options based on your needs.

We also do a WEbsite Needs Analysis Phone Review that takes approximately an hour and a half for owners of existing websites. This needs analysis meeting covers many of the same areas below, but you do not receive a written report and it is not as extensive. We do not solve your problems but do let you know our recommendations. In this time I go over website improvements, SEO suggestions, and give you an estimate to do repair work, redo an existing site or create a new one from scratch. I discuss your needs and desires for your web site and what it will take to achieve them.

If you'd like us to come out to your place of business to talk about a potential website, that's considered an Website Onsite Needs Analysis Meeting. We can discuss your needs, the costs, various options, and help you determine what sort of website is right for you. Normally we can do everything by phone, fax or email, but if you like the personal touch of a face-to-face meeting, no problem - a needs analysis is what you are looking for.

The minimum for any face-to-face web site consultation is 2 1/2 hours, plus drive time, and is completely refundable as a line item if you contract with us to do a new or redesigned website then. It is discounted 50% as a line item if you contract to do a site within two weeks of the consultation. If you do not contract for a website at the consultation, payment of the full amount is due at that time.

For an additional cost, any of the above services can be consolidated into a written report and Request for Proposal that you can submit to the Web Design firm of your choice. An RFP can assist you in getting accurate bids for your project so that you can compare competing firms - apples to apples - and know they are all bidding on the exact same project. Our RFP's are comprehensive, detailed and we'll take a percentage of the cost off your design work if you ultimately decide to go with us.
